Training
When it comes to training, dogs are a little like kids. As leaders of the pack, we need to let them know what is right and what is wrong. Using minimal negative reinforcement, with a quick, “Eh”, or maybe a pop of the lead is all a dog needs to be reminded who is in charge. Marie truly believes in the power of positive and assertive energy, and lots of puppy love!
If you have that within you, total success with your dog will happen.
Becoming the pack leader is crucial.
Your dog will be much happier when he accepts you as the leader of the pack. By instinct, dogs are pack oriented animals and when humans do not show they are the pack leader, dogs will become insecure and/or aggressive toward the owner. Having leadership does NOT mean using harsh methods of correction or the use of confrontation.

Services
Obedience Training
Having a dog in your life should provide joy and companionship, not frustration or aggravation. This is why obedience training is one of the best things you can do for your dog and yourself. Obedience training is the foundation for opening communication between you and your dog to teach specific actions such as learning to sit or lie down.
Behavior Modification
Unlike obedience training, behavior modification changes problem behavior in a dog by changing the dog’s attitude. Some behavior modification uses obedience postures and practical applications to solve your dog’s bad behavior by means of transforming the way the dog thinks, feels and behaves.
Bereavement Counseling
Anyone who considers a pet a beloved friend, companion or family member knows the intense pain that accompanies the loss of that friend. We can help with the coping of that loss and give tips and advice for owners during their time of need.
